Earlier, Mr. Shand was a Senior Coach and Sports Coordinator at the Racers Track Club in Kingston, Jamaica. He was also a member of the Jamaican National Coaching Staff. Some of his key

 

 

 

1. Conducted training camps in USA, Japan, India, Finland, and South Africa.
2. Travelled as a part of the Jamaican National Coaching Team for various international events including:

 

• World Junior Games 2006
• CARIFTA Gamers 2004
• CAC Senior Champs 2009 and 2011
• PAN-AM Senior 2015
• World Relays 2014, 2015, and 2019
• World Championships 2013 and 2015
•  Commonwealth Championships 2014 and 2018

 

Since March 1st, 2019, Mr. Shand has been employed in Pune, India with the Abhinav Seva Foundation. At this previous organization, Mr. Shand began intensive athletic training for 35 athletes at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune. Now, as a part of RPIPL’s corporate social responsibility, we have started the Rajpath Sports Foundation to foster the next generation of Indian athletes. Our goal is to identify and under Mr. Shand’s tutelage, nurture the raw athletic talent in India. We hope that the athletes will be prepared for national and

 

 

 

international games. Under Mr. Shand, athletes have already been performing at the National Games and Khelo India. Through our foundation, we are also providing underprivileged athletes from Karnataka and Maharashtra with housing, training, nutrition and other relevant activities for their athletic training.

We are all very passionate about sports, and in particular, track and field. We truly hope that we can help nurture some of the best athletes in the next generation by identifying the correct options from an untapped pool of athletes. Mr. Shand’s vast expertise would be essential in allowing the athletes to achieve their goals.
